VF Bioscience develops active ingredients for use in the health nutrition sector (food supplements, functional foods). Our R&D focuses on the prevention and treatment of so-called civilization diseases linked to poor lifestyle, degradation of the environment, ageing of the population. We work in collaboration with leading universities and medical centers to validate the clinical efficacy of our products.

Dietary supplements

Our exclusive, research-based ingredients are used all over the world in dietary supplements (capsules, tablets, sachets…). We offer proprietary probiotic strains for gut health, immunity, bone health, cardiometabolic health as well as inactivated bacteria or bacterial components with functional properties.

Functional food

From sport nutrition to medical food, from infant formulas to dietary support for the elderly, our ingredients can be incorporated in a large variety of health-supportive functional food and specialized nutrition products : drinks, bars, powdered formulas. Our proprietary antioxidant probiotic strain L. fermentum ME-3® has been successfully used in functional dairy products (yogurts, kefirs) as well as probiotic chocolate.
